An outline The first three sessions will be run in partnership with Neural Pathways. Neural Pathways has an award-winning multi-disciplinary therapy team working in the community who specialise in neurological conditions including acquired brain injury. We will begin with three sessions – one each month. Each session will start with an informal presentation / information giving session by the therapist. We will then break into two groups, one for people living with brain injury and one for carers/family members. PAUL Belk and his family are celebrating another milestone in his “remarkable” recovery from a life-shattering brain injury. The South Shields student was left paralysed and unable to talk when his drink was spiked during a backpacking trip to Thailand in August 2005. He was in a coma for three months, and given just a two per cent chance of recovery.
